Are the iPhone 3G vs 3GS parts the same?
Yes and no. On the screen connectors specifically, Apple slightly changed the connectors on the mainboard of the iPhone 3GS. In short, the 3G vs 3GS parts for the screen are not interchangeable.

URRGGHH!! i orderedthe 3gs screen forgetting mine was the 3g, so i can’t fix it!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
